Beskrivelse
Continuous forest area with a wilderness feel.
The Tippmyren nature reserve consists of rift valleys, marshes and both
drier and swampier forest areas. Much of the forest is affected by fire. The forest is pine-dominated forest or mixed coniferous forest with elements of old coarse aspen. In the easternmost part, a stretch of richer bedrock enters and creates conditions for coarse spruce forest with many species.
Animals and plants
The forest in Tippmyren consists of old fire-affected coniferous natural forest with important structures such as old coarse-barked trees, deciduous trees, dying and dead trees. These structures and the history of the area, together with the stable and humid microclimate created by the many mires, provide the conditions for many demanding cryptogams.

The reserve is located in Värmlands län, Eda municipality, about 12 kilometers west of Charlottenberg.
Forskrifter
In addition to other laws and regulations, in the nature reserve it is
it is forbidden to:
- collect or harm invertebrates, such as beetles, snails, mussels and butterflies
- collecting mosses, lichens and wood fungi
- felling or otherwise damaging living or dead trees, standing and fallen trees, and bushes
- drive motorized vehicles, such as tractors, snowmobiles and all-terrain vehicles (quad bikes)
- use the area in an organized manner for commercial purposes without the permission of the county administrative board, and for schools and institutions to regularly use the area to carry out scientific or other studies.
