Beskrivelse
Borntorp Nature Reserve consists of spruce forest with elements of deciduous trees that have been left untouched for a long time. There are plants and animals worthy of protection here.
There are no outdoor recreation facilities, apart from information signs, in the reserve.

Veibeskrivelse
The reserve is located on the southern shore of Lake Bornan about 500 SO of Borntorp, about 4 km west of Älmsta.
There is no parking lot next to the reserve.
Forskrifter
To protect Borntorp Nature Reserve, there are rules you must follow.
In the reserve it is forbidden to:
- destroy or damage any solid natural object or surface formation by drilling, hacking, blasting, carving, digging, painting or similar
- break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead trees and shrubs or otherwise damage vegetation by digging up plants such as rice, herbs, mosses or lichens or removing woody fungi
- disturbing wildlife (e.g. by climbing trees, trapping or killing mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians)
- bringing dogs that are not on a leash
- camping in the same place for more than two consecutive days
- making an open fire
- affixing a board, poster, placard, sign or similar device.
