Many spruce trees in the nature reserve are infested with spruce bark beetle. There are many dead trees in the forest and along the paths. They can fall suddenly and without warning. Be careful and avoid visiting the reserve when it is windy!
Beskrivelse
After a short walk along the ridge of the mountain, you will arrive at this spot with beautiful views of the bay. Bring a packed lunch and enjoy the views.

Forskrifter
To protect the Eriksö nature reserve, there are rules that you must follow. In the reserve it is forbidden to:
- destroy or damage solid natural objects or surface formations by drilling, hacking, blasting, carving, painting or the like
- break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead trees or shrubs and damage vegetation in general by digging up rice, herbs, grasses, mosses or lichens
- disturbing wildlife (e.g. by climbing trees or capturing or killing mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians)
- bringing dogs, cats or other pets that are not on a leash
- anchor a boat at the same place for more than two consecutive days
- camping in the same place for more than two consecutive days
- fish in Boviken during the period April 1 - July 31.
