Linnerydsrundan

Road description
Preferably start at Korrö Hantverksby (handicraft village). Korrö is an old handicraft village from the 17th century and is located on a small island in Ronnebyån. Today you can find a hotel, hostel, shop, café and restaurant here. You can go fishing or canoeing or go for a walk in the nature reserve. Go through Korrö and forest, pass farms and other buildings and follow road 122 for a short while. Take a left turn of road 122 and follow the road towards Guleboda and Sandvik. From Korrö you can follow the signs of the bike route "Kronobergstrampen" to Sandvik. Here you continue on the asphalt road. In Sandvik you find a bathing place by lake Viren. Continue on the road for about 5 km north and cross the bridge over Ronnebyån in Skogskvarn. Pass Solhem and turn left onto the asphalt road by the next junction. Turn right after about 400 m and continue your way on gravel road towards Knapanäs. Turn right at the sign towards Storanäs. After about 2 km turn left. Visit Knapelid, a nice observation point over lake Rottnen. Continue your way south towards Linneryd. Shortly before road 122 you can take a detour through the old village, Linneryds by. Cross road 122, at the junction Kyrkvägen/Lindvägen you can see Linneryds kyrka, a church from the 18th century.

Turn left onto Lindvägen and continue towards road 122 again. Just before the road, you will spot a smaller path to your right side. Follow this path, preferably by foot or on a mountain bike. Soon you will arrive at Linneryds bad- och campingsplats, where you can take a bath in the lake or have coffee break. Follow the exit towards road 122 and turn right. After about 700 m you see Marknadsplatsen, the old market square. Some scenes from the movie "Rasken", after the novel by Vilhem Moberg, were shot here. Turn left towards Rolsmo. Here you will find a playground and bathing place by the lake. Follow the road around the lake and go back to Linneryd via Lindvägen and Kyrkvägen.

The old church stables are located across the street and are now the location for a local history museum. Here you can experience life in Småland in the 19th century. Take a walk through Kyrkviken, an embanked part of Linnerydsjön. Leave Linneryd south on Kyrkvägen, turn left by the sign towards Vrångebo and follow the road via Stångsmåla and then left towards Flålycke. At the T-junction turn left onto the larger road and you will see Korrö after a short distance.

The tour is on smaller asphalt roads as well as gravel roads.
