Beskrivelse
The reserve is made up of a south-facing slope and in the lower part there is a herb-rich stream called Långtjärnbäcken. The forest was created after a forest fire and as a result there are more deciduous trees and less spruce than in other forests. But next to the stream grows really big spruce. Perhaps the fire never reached here.

In the town of Bräcke, turn east on the road signposted Albacken and Sörbygden. At Sörbygden (after about 45 kilometers) you turn south on road 320. After about 4.6 kilometers at the sign Strandåker you turn right and drive over a bridge. Almost immediately after the bridge, drive south on a small forest road for about 5.7 kilometers and then turn right onto a forest road. After about 6 kilometers you reach the reserve.

Welcome to Storfloberget. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:
- capture, disturb or harm mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, as well as damage their nests and spawning grounds or collect eggs,
- pick and collect species of any kind, except berries and edible mushrooms
- climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, lair or burrow
- damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
- make fires, other than with firewood, and
- drive motorized vehicles in terrain except on existing snowmobile trails
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
