Vandring upp på Kasberget

The mountain with its viewing tower offers an incredible view of Mo parish with nice hiking in a forest environment. Hike on a marked trail up to the top and in addition to the tower there is also a barbecue area and benches.

Kasberget is 202 m above sea level and the tower, which was built in the summer of 2005, is 7.5 m from the ground to the upper level. The tower was built by Mo Hembygdsförening with the help of villagers and financial support from local businesses. There is a barbecue area and benches to sit on.It is quite a steep and rocky hike so shoes with good grip in the sole are recommended, don't forget to bring binoculars.Can be done with children of different ages, it is not very long but gives a wonderful view and there is a barbecue area at the top. Kasberget also has a viewing tower.
