Beskrivelse

Erik Olssveden Nature Reserve is located on the northern shore of the rolling Ljusnan river. In the area, you can hike on the trail that runs through the reserve. Or look for unusual mushrooms. The forests and water offer great nature experiences. Erik Olssvedens nature reserve is located 2.5 kilometers west-northwest of Färila and covers 10 hectares. The area consists of a coniferous forest with high and even humidity.

There are old, coarse spruces and some old aspens. And also dead wood in the form of lying and standing dry trees and stumps.

Bombmurklan grows in Erik-Olssveden

The red-listed mushroom 'bombmurkla' grows in the area. They are round, about 5-12 centimeters wide, with shiny, black-brown, velvety exterior.

The fruiting body is filled with a jelly-like liquid, which makes the mushroom feel surprisingly heavy for its size. There are also lung lichen and woolly tick, as well as signal species such as skin lichen and tufted lichen.

The nature reserve is located 2.5 kilometers west northwest of Färila.

Forskrifter

Special rules apply in the nature reserve. It is not allowed to:

  • drive a motorized vehicle. Exceptions apply to snowmobiles along the path marked on the decision map
  • take firewood. Firing is only permitted if you have brought your own firewood
  • break branches, fell or otherwise damage living or dead standing or fallen trees and bushes
  • damaging, picking or collecting plants and fungi
  • climbing trees, staying near a bird of prey's nest, lair or burrow, collecting animals or otherwise deliberately harming or disturbing wildlife
  • bringing an off-leash dog or other unleashed pet
  • put up a picture, poster, billboard, sign or make an inscription
  • damaging any fixed object or surface formation, such as moving or removing stones or similar.
