Lygnernslingan 2,3 km

The trail starts at the nature center and follows the crest of Bräckan north towards the church. It then goes back east of the road, down over the meadow towards Lake Lygnern and into the forest. In the forest you go back south on an old hollow road. The road was once used as a connection between the steamer ISA and the train to Gothenburg, which used to have a stop down in the gravel pit. Through the forest you then make your way down to Lygnerns beach and barbecue area.

Then take the stairs up to continue. When you have come all the way up the stairs, turn south and come out on a beautiful meadow with a fantastic view of the whole lake.

Then head west, up the hill and through the gates to arrive at the Kolerakyrkogården from 1834. After a few more meters you will arrive at the parking lot.
