The cultural heritage of Stenegård, for thousands of years this has been a place where people meet, enjoy themselves and take a break on the journey. The pilgrimage routes to Nidaros (Trondheim) passed by and there were inns here as early as the 17th and 18th centuries. There were several farmhouses (farms that today are called hälsingegårdar) on this site until the mid-1850s.
