Beskrivelse
At Myran's nature and hiking area there are two prepared trails for those who want to go for a short walk, watch birds or make an excursion with the family.
The experience trail is barely two kilometers long but still offers a varied nature. You walk through old pine forest, past the constructed wetlands and across a meadow where it blooms beautifully in summer. At times, cows or sheep graze in pastures next to the path. The entire trail is graveled and has a width of at least 1.6 meters. The gradient is mostly gentle, but there are some slightly steeper sections. At the two rest areas "Kullen med tallen" and "Pulkabacken" there are fireplaces and wood.
Branta slingan is an 800 meter long extension of Upplevelsestigen. Here you walk mainly on a nature trail and, as the name suggests, there is a real uphill along the loop. At the top you can take a break with a nice view of the area's meadow.
In addition to the marked trails, there are plenty of other paths and roads on Myran. You therefore have great opportunities to find a round that suits your daily form.

Fakta
The trail markings consist of red posts with gray and blue signs.
It is possible to get around with a wheelchair on Upplevelsestigen from the entrance to Floras kulle to the ponds. The gravel road between Floras kulle and the Surbrunnsvägen entrance, as well as the road towards the Björken entrance, are also suitable for wheelchairs. However, assistance is needed to get up the slopes to both Kullen med tallen and Utblicken.
Falu municipality is responsible for the trails in the Myran area.
Parkering
Parking for both bicycles and cars is available at the two entrances Floras kulle and Surbrunnsvägen.
Kommunikasjon
The nearest bus stop is Högskolan, which is about 400 meters from the entrance Surbrunnsvägen.

Myran's nature area is located in the eastern part of Falun, next to the E16 and the Dalarna University campus.
