Inspired by the house's history, Lotsstugan offers a modern and relaxing environment where you can leave behind all the planning and everyday life. The beautiful house on the cliffs features three cozy double rooms, a kitchen, and several social areas up in the lookout tower. The view over the sea is simply magical!
Lotsstugan is located on Storklubben in Järnäsklubb and is part of the Örefjärden-Snöanskärgården and Järnäsklubb marine nature reserve. The house is conveniently located within commuting distance of Umeå and Örnsköldsvik and is easily accessible by car. You can also arrive by sea, as a popular guest harbor has been set up offering a sheltered spot at the quay.
"Klubb" means "a rocky promontory jutting into the sea," which perfectly describes Järnäsklubb. Here, the landscape is strongly shaped by its exposed location. The cliffs and rocks are smooth and popular among sunbathing visitors. The area is rich in birdlife, and seals are plentiful offshore.

You can travel to Järnäsklubb using public transportation. From both Umeå and Örnsköldsvik, there are trains that stop in Nordmaling. You can then continue by bus to Järnäsklubb. You can find more information on Länstrafiken Västerbotten's website.
Nordmaling is just a stone's throw from the E4, and from Nordmaling, it takes about 20 minutes by car to reach Lotsstugan and Järnäsklubb. Free parking is available at the accommodation.
Please note that you check in and pick up your key at Hotell Levar in Nordmaling.
Järnäsklubb also has a guest harbor if you choose to visit Lotsstugan with your own boat.
