Naturkartan-appen kan behöva uppdateras för vissa användare

Användare av Naturkartans app för Android rapporterar i sommar att appen är seg mm. Vi rekommenderar att man raderar appen helt från sin telefon i så fall och laddar ned igen! Då skall den fungera bättre. Den befintliga appen skall ersättas av en ny app efter sommaren. Den gamla appen laddar all data för hela landet lokalt i appen (för att klara offline-läge) men det innebär att den blir för stor för vissa telefoner - då behöver den raderas och laddas ned igen!

Beskrivelse

For thousands of years, Skattmansöån has meandered through the landscape, cutting its way through the deep clay. Today, the river flows along the bottom of a beautiful ravine with steep sides in places. It gives a funny impression, because the landscape opens up under you.

In the Skattmansöådalen nature reserve you can keep yourself busy all year round. Several hiking trails run through the valley. From the ski slope you can hike the orange-marked Upplandsleden trail 1.6 km north to the historically interesting place Ytterkvarn. If you want to hike further, the Upplandsleden trail continues south down to Härjarö and north to Siggeforasjön.

In winter there is Uppland's highest ski slope with two lifts and trails for cross-country skiing and sledding. Next to the slope you will find a warming hut, a shelter and barbecue areas with wood storage.

Veibeskrivelse

Skattmansöådalen is located about 30 km west of Uppsala and 20 km north of Enköping.

From road 72, turn south where there are signs for Skattmansöådalen. Then follow the signs. If you want to get to the ski slope, turn in at Skattmansöstugan. If you want to get to Ytterkvarn, turn left at the intersection after Skattmansöstugan.

Forskrifter

In the reserve it is forbidden to:

  1. pick flowers before July 1,
  2. break twigs, cut down or otherwise damage trees and shrubs or damage the vegetation in general, for example by digging up herbs, grasses, mosses or lichens,
  3. deliberately disturbing wildlife by, for example, climbing up a tree or photographing a bird's nest or other nesting place from close range with an unleashed dog,
  4. making fires other than in specially designated places
  5. drive motorized vehicles other than on the public roads 817 and 818, and on specially designated roads and parking lots,
  6. park other than in the specially designated parking spaces,
  7. set up caravans or trailers other than in specially designated places
  8. camping
  9. attach a board, poster, poster, sign, inscription or similar device,
  10. use a radio, gramophone, tape recorder, musical instrument or similar in a disruptive manner,
  11. otherwise, without the permission of the County Administrative Board, take action that is contrary to the purpose of the reserve.
