Beskrivelse
The reserve comprises a flat valley string mire along the middle in mitten. On the mire there are some large and small mire clients, partly surrounded by large continuous patches of forest. The area is 2.3 square kilometres in size.

The nature reserve lies about 7 kilometres west of Aapua. The road which leads to the reserve begins about halfway between Aapua and Ohtanajärvi. After about 5 kilometres Kuusilaenpalo lies on the right.

The nature reserve is located about 7 kilometers west of Aapua. The road leading to the reserve starts about halfway between Aapua and Ohtanajärvi. After about 5 kilometers on the smaller road, Kuusilaenpalo is on the right side.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping - hiking - making a small fire - driving a snowmobile on snow-covered ground - picking berries and edible mushrooms - fishing and hunting in accordance with the laws in force
It is not allowed to litter or damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
