Beskrivelse
This reserve is dominated by spruce forests mixed with pine and some aspen. In the western parts of the reserve, there are rich marshes in a few small areas. It is the calcareous soil and the moving groundwater that provide the conditions to see calcareous species such as: Wreath moss, blue thorn mushroom, whiskers and wreaths. When a calcareous coniferous forest is allowed to develop over a long period of time, without major intervention, conditions are created for calcareous soil fungi to grow there

Veibeskrivelse
Follow road E45 north from Östersund. Turn off towards Häggenås and then left towards Huse and Grötom. After about 5 kilometers, the Huse nature reserve is on your right. Note that the road may be blocked after the village of Huse.
Forskrifter
Welcome to Huse. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:
- climb bot trees, stay near birds of prey nests, lairs or pits, collect animals or otherwise deliberately harm or disturb wildlife,
- picking and collecting species of any kind, except berries and edible mushrooms
- damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
- drive a motorized vehicle on bare ground.
