Mattörundan (inom Färnebofjärdens NP)

The loop that goes around Mattön takes you to Gysinge and back. In total about 8 kilometers. The western stretch is 4.5 kilometers and goes upstream from the national park entrance. At the southern tip of Mattön, the trail continues north along the old military road. The hiking trail on the northeastern side of Mattön, back from Gysinge, is 3 kilometers and runs along the quiet bay. Here, you may have to step over roots and beaver-felled tree trunks.
