Live music at a cool rock club

The business has been around for many years and is run by a dedicated bunch of enthusiasts with a strong love of music and culture. The aim is to share the passion for live music with locals and visitors alike. Several well-known bands have played on Rockfickan's stage and chosen to return, including Mustasch, Smash Into Pieces and Hardcore Superstar.

In addition to concerts in the larger concert hall, pub nights, vinyl nights and gigs with local troubadours are also organized in the pub area called Hovas vardagsrum. Here, Rockfickan wants to create an open and relaxed meeting place where people can meet and socialize around music.

Rockfickan can also be hired for private events or staff parties. The unique venue can accommodate up to 400 people indoors and also has a roofed veranda outdoors. In collaboration with the association, it is possible to get help with booking music, food and other arrangements.

The venue is accessible for wheelchair users. Dogs are welcome on the veranda and a water bowl is available.

Rockfickan is the organizer of the well-known Skivmässan in Hova, Sweden's oldest of its kind. The fair is usually held on the Saturday before midsummer and attracts both sellers and visitors from Sweden and abroad. There is a large selection of vinyl records, CDs and DVDs - from rarities to more everyday finds. Sunday is especially devoted to trading in 78 rpm records.

Collaboration with other associations and companies in the area is a natural part of the spirit of Rockfickan. Through collaboration, the business helps to create vibrant meeting places and to strengthen the local cultural and visitor offer.
