Högkullen - Råbäck, Kinnekulleleden

You start at the top and take a trip up the Kinnekullet Tower where you look out over the whole of Lake Vänern. The trail continues towards the Stora Salen nature reserve, which is a scenic hay meadow.After a section in the magical spruce forest, you come down to Vänern and a spectacular stretch near the water before you reach the campsite which has a nice bathing area and kiosk. Then it's close to Hällekis Säteri with a popular café and a beautiful garden. You then pass Stora Stenbrottet, also called Sweden's Grand Canyon, where you can fish for noble fish (fishing license required) You walk on through Munkängarna which is Kinnekulle's wild garlic paradise. Just after Munkängarna there are signs to the train station. It is now 750 meters to Råbäck station and you are back where you started.
