Café with homemade treats, fishing kayaks and fishing courses
Just five kilometres north of Sjötorp and the Göta Canal, you'll find Askevik Camping and Cottages, with the café beautifully situated beside the sandy beach on the shores of Lake Vänern.
Enjoy a cup of coffee, homemade baked goods and Kling ice cream. The café serves crêpes and waffles made from scratch, and if you're looking for something more substantial, you can choose from hot dogs, French fries and toasted sandwiches.
You can also browse a selection of handmade souvenirs and decorative items.
Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area.
For Fishing Enthusiasts
Stephanie and Jörn offer fishing kayak and BoostBoard rentals directly from the beach. You can also book fishing courses and purchase handmade soft plastic fishing lures.
