Nässundets station

Nässundet Station by the Bergslagen Canal is open again, with a restaurant, a bakery and mobile home spots, Located at the northern edge of Kristinehamn Municipality along RV 26.

A Great Destination

Nässundet Station has been open to visitors on and off in recent years. Since spring 2025, it has a new owner. The name comes from the fact that it is a station along the railway Inlandsbanan, which starts in Kristinehamn and ends in Gällivare. Right now, there is no passenger traffic on the original part between Kristinehamn and Filipstad, because that section is not fully electrified.

There are places to sit both indoors and outdoors. Dogs are also welcome inside the café/restaurant.

Here, everything is made from scratch, whether it’s food, cinnamon buns, or sourdough bread! The menu includes tasty treats like cinnamon buns, tuna melt, goulash soup, and chicken with potato gratin.

There are 8 camper spots available, and 6 of them have electricity.
