It is not strange that Bälingeberget mountain is among the most popular excursion spots in Luleå. It lies near the centre of Luleå and is easily accessible to most people. There is a car park and there are plenty of trails. If you have not yet walked up the 139- metre- high mountain – do so! From the summit you have a fantastic of the living landscape of the Lule river. The area is 2.8 square kilometres and snowmobiling is not permitted.

Kommunikasjon
Bälingeberget lies 15 kilometres west of Luleå. From Luleå take the road along the south side of the Lule river through Bergnäset and Gäddvik. After that, it is signposted to Bälingeberget Nature Reserve. From Boden a road passes through Unbyn and Södra Sunderbyn to Bälinge.
Veibeskrivelse
Bälingeberget is located 15 kilometers west of Luleå. From Luleå, follow the road on the southwest side of the Lule River, through Bergnäset and Gäddvik. Near the village of Bälinge there are road signs to Bälingeberget nature reserve. From Boden there is a road through Unbyn and Södra Sunderbyn to Bälinge.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- make fires in the designated area
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- fishing and hunting in accordance with applicable laws
It is not permitted to drive snowmobiles in the area or to damage plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
