Help us stop the spread of the aquatic plant seaweed - which has a great ability to adapt to different habitats, it spreads mainly vegetatively but also by seed. To prevent the plant from spreading further in marine environments, we all need to work together!

• Do not drive a boat or paddle a canoe through or in close proximity to colonies of seaweed.
• Don't fish in or near sea urchin colonies. Do not swim in the beds, it can be dangerous as the vegetation is very dense.
• Do not allow the plant to spread to other lakes or water bodies. Do not move the plant and be careful when moving boats, canoes, fishing gear, etc. from a water with seaweed to other water areas. Clean carefully so that no plant parts from seaweed are moved.
• If you have seaweed in your pond, it must not be moved to other water areas.
