Beskrivelse

Description Wetlands and swamp forests with high nature value. Natural value Swamp forests, with their local high humidity, have the potential to harbor sensitive cryptogams associated with these environments. Swamp forests also benefit insect life and bats, for example. Dead wood production is high in these environments. Management To preserve the natural values of swamp forests, it is crucial that water flows and shading of the ground can be maintained. Species that depend on stable conditions in terms of humidity, temperature, light and wind are otherwise easily eliminated.
