Följ väg E45 söderut från Hoting och sväng höger mot Tåsjö efter cirka 2 kilometer. Kör cirka 2,5 kilometer och sväng sedan höger. Kör cirka 1,5 kilometer på den nya vägen tills du kommer fram till en skogsbilväg som svänger av höger. Följ den skogsbilvägen till fots cirka 200 meter, sedan är du framme i naturreservatet.

Welcome to Smalåbäcken. Please note that within the nature reserve it is not allowed to:

• pick and collect species of various kinds, with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms,
• climbing trees, staying near a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot, collecting animals or otherwise deliberately harming or disturbing wildlife,
• damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
• make fires, other than with firewood brought in
• drive a motorized vehicle off-road.
