Beskrivelse
The forest is full of rough trunks and stones with soft mosses adorned with lingonberry and blueberry bushes. Countless fallen spruces lie in the moss, becoming softer and softer until they disappear completely. Beautiful, furrowed, coarse, shimmering gray aspens are a welcome break from the darker conifers.

Veibeskrivelse
The reserve is located about a mile north of Hammarstrand. From road 87, turn off to Gevåg, and just before the old homestead, take the forest road leading northeast. A bit into the forest, you turn left, and after four kilometers you arrive at the reserve's information board.
Forskrifter
Welcome to Orrmyrberget. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:
- capture, disturb or harm mammals, birds, frogs and reptiles, as well as damage their nests and spawning grounds or collect eggs
- picking and collecting species of any kind, except berries and edible mushrooms
- climbing nest trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, roost or burrow
- damaging the ground, boulders, vegetation, dry trees or other dead wood
- make fires, except in specially designated places
- drive a motorized vehicle on bare ground.
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
