We are a retired couple with two dogs living in Stensbo. We like to do hikes ourselves, have walked the pilgrimage trail in Spain. So we usually make annual trips in the mountains, both winter and fall. In the fall there is hunting with our bird dog. But there are also many excursions in our neighborhood, both on foot or by bike. In winter we like to ski at the ski resorts in Ludvika municipality or go dog sledding on "our" lake Björken.

Our cottages are located right next to the Pilgrims Trail, old church road, 5 km south of Grangärde church.

The rooms we rent out for overnight stays are in a couple of cottages, maximum 4 people at a time.

There is electricity but no running water inside the cottages, but it is possible to take cold water from a tap outside the main building. An ecological toilet is nearby. A simple breakfast can be arranged. A fridge and microwave are available. If you want to eat outside, there are tables with benches under cover and a barbecue. A dog park is also available.

The site is located about 150 meters from Lake Björken, with a jetty and rowing boat.

At the entrance from the highway, 17 km north of Ludvika (Sälenvägen) there is an information board about Romboleden. There is a bus stop about 100 meters from the entrance. If you then go about 200 meters into our road Täppvägen, you will find our farm, no. 4 (second house)

We charge a fixed fee for the accommodation, per person. There is an additional cost for breakfast and sauna.
