Naturkartan-appen kan behöva uppdateras för vissa användare

Användare av Naturkartans app för Android rapporterar i sommar att appen är seg mm. Vi rekommenderar att man raderar appen helt från sin telefon i så fall och laddar ned igen! Då skall den fungera bättre. Den befintliga appen skall ersättas av en ny app efter sommaren. Den gamla appen laddar all data för hela landet lokalt i appen (för att klara offline-läge) men det innebär att den blir för stor för vissa telefoner - då behöver den raderas och laddas ned igen!

Beskrivelse

Outside the enclosed farmland, the nature reserve comprises ancient forest. This common land lies on a plateau of bedrock with a steep slope in the western section where the granite is revealed, forming gaps in the forest.
The coastal meadow by the sea is a historic hayfield used for grazing. There are several historic sites here known as båtkåsor comprising two stone walls where boats were laid up. The boats were used for fishing and for going to milk the village’s cows on the nearby island of Tomtö.

The rules for the nature reserve are shown in the link below but, for example, you are not permitted to pitch a tent or park a caravan, light fires where there is no site designated for campfires, and dogs must be kept on a lead (other than when hunting).

Stora Rom nature reserve is located on Torhamnslandet in eastern Blekinge. From the E22 highway, turn off in Jämjö towards Torhamn. Follow the road about five kilometers to the designated parking.

You are welcome to visit the Great Hall of Rome, but please note that it is not allowed to

  • damage land destroy or damage fixed natural objects or surface formations
  • damage stone walls or cairns
  • unduly disturb wildlife
  • damage growing or dead trees and bushes or vegetation in general
  • bring an unleashed dog other than for hunting
  • drive vehicles other than on the designated road to the parking lot
  • ride a horse or bicycle other than on the road to the parking lot
  • camping or setting up a caravan or motorhome
  • light a fire other than in a designated area
  • use a radio or CD recorder in a disruptive manner or otherwise cause disturbing noise
  • use the area for exercises that disturb nature or the public's outdoor life
  • affixing a board, poster, poster, sign, inscription or similar device.

Without permission from the county administrative board, you may not

  • collect butterflies or beetles
  • conduct scientific research or survey activities.
