Grillplats, Forssjö friluftsområde

Here you will find a barbecue area with a view Jättens basin. The barbecue area is managed by Katrineholm municipality and will have access to firewood (from spring 2020).

A lovely hiking trail of about 3.5 kilometers takes you through the Forssjö outdoor area and to the barbecue area (located at Jättens handfat). The hiking trail starts at the parking lot located along Bruksvägen, a short distance outside Forssjö. Part of the route is wheelchair accessible (from the parking lot and about 300 meters into the trail). After about 300 meters there is a steep hill of about 100 meters. The barbecue area is about 2 kilometers from the parking lot.
