Start your bike tour in the charming village of Agunnaryd, where you can visit the historic church ruins and Agundaborg, a legendary place with remnants from the 11th century. According to legend, Lady Agunda, a Christian woman who built the first church in the area, lived here and defended herself against pagan knights with the help of a miracle.

As you leave Agunnaryd, cycle towards Halta-Kajsa in Ryd, another legendary place. Here lived the widow Halta-Kajsa, one of the main informants for the folklore collector Gunnar-Olof Hyltén-Cavallius. Her small cottage is now marked by snowberry bushes and a stone foundation.

Continue carefully on the heavily trafficked road 124 for about 1 km towards Marsholm. At Marsholm farm, you can stop and explore the farm museum, which offers a fascinating look at life on the island through the ages. On Marsholm, there are two beautiful hiking trails, Mor Emmelis trail and Torparens trail, where you can enjoy the lush forest and the beautiful view of Lake Möckeln. Lake Möckeln is a fantastic place for nature lovers, and if you're lucky, you might spot both ospreys and white-tailed eagles. The osprey is a skilled hunter that dives into the water to catch fish, while the white-tailed eagle majestically soars high above, scanning for its prey. Seeing these impressive birds of prey in their natural habitat is an experience that truly enhances your bike tour.

After exploring Marsholm, continue cycling to Vedåsa nature reserve. This area offers rich flora and fauna and is perfect for a relaxing break before you finish your journey.

Conclude your bike tour back in Agunnaryd, where you can reflect on all the fantastic places you have visited and the memories you have created.
