Beskrivelse
From the reserve parking lot at Kaserna, there is a potpourri of sub-areas to discover. The land is extremely rich in flowers and consists mainly of meadows and pastures.
The combination of the calcareous clay shale and the continuous management, with grazing and mowing, has led to this floral richness with many rare species
The flowers are most abundant from early summer to the end of July. If you're lucky on a hot summer day, you may see the macaon butterfly gliding past among the flowers. This butterfly is one of Sweden's largest and most beautiful. There are several marked trails at the reserve parking lot. There is also a disabled parking lot and a dry toilet at Stora berget.
