Flavors from Central Thailand

The driving force behind the restaurant is Parichat Taomee Johansson. Even as a child, she helped her mother, who still runs a restaurant in Thailand. Parichat grew up in central Thailand, and her cooking draws inspiration from the region’s well-known flavors and culinary traditions. During celebrations in the Thai royal family, festive meals are often inspired by the cuisine of central Thailand, a region known for its rich and well-balanced flavors.

Cooking is Parichat’s passion and way of life. With great care for ingredients and preparation, she strives to ensure that every guest enjoys the same high quality and an authentic culinary experience.

Lunch Buffet and À la Carte

A popular lunch buffet featuring both Thai dishes and traditional Swedish home-style cooking is served year-round. During other opening hours, an à la carte menu is available, featuring several classic Thai favorites. For our youngest guests, there’s also a selection of children’s dishes.

The restaurant has about 70 seats, 30 of which are indoors and about 40 on the pleasant outdoor patio.

P&M Thai Kitchen is ideally located for cyclists traveling the national bike trail Vänerleden, traveling along Route 26, or arriving by boat on Lake Vänern. Take a break and enjoy well-prepared Thai dishes in a cozy setting close to the lake.
