Beskrivelse
The island of Holmen in Lake Simmesjön is forested. Along the shore grows a narrow strip of alder and birch.
The island was protected in 1933. In the middle of the south side of the island is a grave with the remains of a woman who returned to Sweden after emigrating to the USA.
