Experiences close to nature in the middle of Dalsland

Rent a canoe, boat or go on a hike

There are many large lakes and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity, such as Pilgrimsleden i norra Dalsland. In other words, Högsbyns Fritidscenter is a perfect starting point for those who want to experience nature, whether on foot, in a canoe or on a mountain bike. Right next to the campsite there is also a nature reserve with rock carvings from the Bronze Age.

It is also not far to some of Dalsland's main attractions such as Akvedukten i Håverud, Dals Rostock with its herb garden and miniature train station, Baldersnäs Herrgård or Bengtsfors where you can ride a trolley, visit Halmens Hus or start your journey with the canal boat.

Camping, cottages and café

The cozy camping area stands out in that all campsites have a view of Lake Råvarpen. There are also cottages, in a few different sizes, some of which have their own swimming beach. In summer, there is a weekend café at the campsite.

Campsite for larger gatherings

A stone's throw from the lake is the campground, beautifully nestled in greenery. It consists of two buildings with dormitories for a total of 60 people and kitchen facilities for 80 people. In the surrounding area there is a soccer field, many walking paths and plenty to discover in nature.
