Beskrivelse
Gålsjön is a bird lake with a certain wilderness character. Due to a lowering of the lake in the 19th century, three quarters of the lake consists of reeds. In the bird tower on the north side of the lake, you can look out for cranes, whooper swans and water egrets. In the old-growth forest next door, species such as common crow and three-toed woodpecker thrive. Even the rare woodpecker has been seen here. On the west side of the lake there is a barbecue area with wind protection.

Veibeskrivelse
Drive from Arboga center towards Västerbron, then follow the sign towards Älholmen. Continue 4.2 km. Parking is available to the right of the road.
