This is within the Kågeälvens Nedre Fishing Conservation Area and requires a fishing license. Both pike and perch fishing can be good in the river mouth. Especially in the spring when fish swim up the river from the sea to spawn. By boat you can fish the entire mouth.

By boat, you can depart from Kåge marina. Want to try your luck in winter? Check the nearest snowmobile trail and avoid crossing the mouth of the Kåge River.
