Isälvsleden med cykel

The nature along this trail is mostly sandy pine forest, which makes this
a nice and easy cycling path, but the trail is green and blue (on a scale of
green, blue, red and black) and sometimes there are short steep hills at ridges
and nips. Some of the hills are so sandy and steep that even very experienced
cyclist must lead the bike down the hill.

The entire trail between Åmsele and Vindeln is a wonderful excursion and
takes about 4-5 hours, depending on how many stops you make along the way.
Along Isälvsleden there are several attractions such as mud volcanoes and a
turquoise blue lake. If you don’t want to do the whole trail you can cycle partial
stretches, there are several to choose from:

• Vindeln-Hällnäs 18 km 1,5 hours
• Hällnäs-Djupsund 23 km 2 hours
• Hällnäs-Åmsele 40 km 3 hours
