Beskrivelse
Gränskär Nature Reserve includes the islands of Gränskäret, Mellanören and Gumsen with surrounding skerries. The islands are covered with alder, ash, birch, pine and spruce. Sea buckthorn is also present. Gumsen and the northern parts of Mellanören and Gränskäret have good bathing rocks.
There are no outdoor recreation facilities in the reserve, apart from information signs.

Gränskskärets nature reserve is located in the outer part of Edeboviken, 10 kilometers north of Hallstavik. The easiest way to get here is by boat.
Forskrifter
To protect nature reserves, there are rules that you must follow.
In the Gränsskärets reserve it is forbidden to
- destroy or damage any fixed natural object or surface formation
- dig up plants or otherwise deliberately damage ground vegetation (such as grass, moss or lichen cover)
- deliberately disturbing wildlife (e.g. by climbing nest trees, collecting eggs or taking close-up photographs of a bird's nest, burrow, pot or similar)
- bring a dog that is not on a leash
- camping for more than two days
- make a fire other than in places that may have been prepared and designated for this purpose
- use a radio, gramophone, tape recorder or similar in a way that disturbs others.
