Bastuudden vid Tyresö-Flaten

Bastuudden is a headland in Lake Tyresö-Flaten. The lake is divided by a narrow water passage, Gammelströmmen, where a wooden bridge passes. At Bastuudden there is a proper fireplace and right at the foot of the bridge you will find a wood box with dry wooden sticks to use for the fire. There's also a spectacular forest toilet for your needs.

The wooden bridge acts as an entrance into Tyresta Nature Reserve for hikers coming from the other direction. It is called Entré Prästängen and next to it there is a parking lot for those who just want to take a short walk.

From the sauna hut, walk across the wooden bridge and past the parking lot. The trail turns right onto the paved road Nyforsvägen.
