Beskrivelse
Kamajokk means "thundering river". The river is a central part to the magnificent landscape north of Kvikkjokk. Here you find varying landscape with undisturbed forest, mires, streams and forest lakes. In the southernmost part of the reserve you can see traces of the storm which felled many trees in December 2001. The whole area is 6.2 square kilometres in size.

There is a car park at the mountain station in Kvikkjokk.

The nature reserve Kamajokk begins about 1 kilometre north of Kvikkjokk and about 5 km northwards along the river.
Veibeskrivelse
The Kamajokk Nature Reserve starts about 1 kilometer north of Kvikkjokk and extends a little over half a mile north along the river.
Forskrifter
All regulations can be found in the reserve decision. It is allowed to:
- camping
- hiking
- make a fire
- picking berries and edible mushrooms
- drive snowmobiles on well-snow-covered ground
- fishing and hunting in accordance with applicable laws
It is not allowed to harm plant and animal life. Remember the right of public access and protect nature!
