Beskrivelse

The lake is located in the Illern nature reserve east of central Tranås. As the lake is in the middle of the nature reserve, the water is clear and the wildlife is rich. The shore consists mainly of stones and gravel and Illern has a moderate reed growth. You need a fishing license to fish in the lake. You can find more information in the link below. There are plenty of pike in Illern, as well as perch, roach, bream and cormorant.

Veibeskrivelse

The lake is located in the Illern Nature Reserve, east of Tranås. Drive Råsvägen out of Tranås. At the Rås road sign turn left. Follow the road to Rås Gård where you can park. From there it is about 5-10 minutes walk to the lake. Note! It is not possible to drive to the bathing area, as the road is closed with a boom.
