Beskrivelse
I den gamla skogen får nedblåsta träd och grenar ligga kvar där de fallit. De täcks av mjuk mossa och blåbärsris och försvinner i glömska. De blir till nytta för skogens många invånare som är beroende av gamla ihåliga träd och död ved. Här trivs insekter, svampar, lavar och olika fåglar.

Veibeskrivelse
The reserve is located 1.5 miles southwest of Rätan. From Rätan you drive road 315 west, towards Röjan. At the western end of Böle turn south towards Klaxåsen. Just after the bridge over Hoan, turn left onto a forest road that leads upwards and passes the reserve.
Forskrifter
Welcome to Stubbarna. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:
- camp
- make fires
- drive a motorized vehicle
- climbing trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot
- damaging the ground, including vegetation, dry trees and windfalls.
Other rules apply if you want to conduct any kind of activity in the area, see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
