This area is the county's largest known limestone coniferous forest. There is a very rich flora and high natural forest qualities, as well as remains of an old pasture wall.

Veibeskrivelse
The reserve is located three kilometers northeast of Stavre. Follow the road signs from the E14 in Mälgåsen, after just over two kilometers along the gravel road you come to a parking bay with an information board.
Forskrifter
Welcome to Blektjärn. Please note that within the reserve it is not allowed to:
- make fires
- drive a motorized vehicle off-road within the entire area
- climbing trees or deliberately staying closer than 100 meters to a bird of prey's nest, lair or pot
- damaging land or vegetation, including dry trees and windfalls
- picking and collecting natural products (e.g. wood fungi and mosses) with the exception of berries and edible mushrooms
- carry out scientific studies without the permission of the County Administrative Board.
Other rules apply if you want to carry out any kind of activity in the area; see the relevant reserve decision for full regulations. There may also be other laws to take into account, such as the Reindeer Husbandry Act.
