Blåberget naturreservat

A natural forest area where spruce is dominant. Here, the tree trunks lie all over the place, and a small stream runs through the forest. Visitors have to find their own way through the area, as there are no trails.

The spruce forest is old and tall with elements of coarse old deciduous trees. The stream ravine that runs through the forest creates high humidity, which benefits many exciting species. There is plenty of dead wood that favors many wood fungi and insects, whose traces can also be seen at close range for those interested. The area is always atmospheric, but perhaps most beautiful in damp weather when lichens and mosses show their beautiful colors most clearly. In addition to Blåberget offering fantastic nature, a visit in late summer and fall can provide a good harvest in the mushroom basket.
