Gällivare is a municipality that stands for diversity and inclusion. Here, everyone should feel welcome, safe and seen. The colours also reflect that Gällivare Municipality is actively engaged in LGBTQI+ work. The stairs were inaugurated in the fall of 2023 and are a central connection between the Nedre Heden area and the city centre.
