Grandalen - Bottenstugan, Bohusleden Etapp 8

Moderate hiking, on the network of hiking trails for a total of 7.5 kilometers. Access to viewpoints, swimming spots, canoeing and fishing. Hiking experience and good fitness is preferred, the terrain is very hilly in places.

On the way: Fishing is possible in Svartedalen (fishing license required, available for purchase at the Grandalen crossing). At Tvängen there is a shelter for the overnight stay. Along the way you pass Stora Kattås located at 175 m.a.s.l. which then leads to the end station at Bottenstugan.

Bohusledens consists of 27 stages that offer a total of about 35 miles of varied hiking through Bohuslän's beautiful nature. The trail stretches from Älvsåker in the south, on the border with Halland, to Strömstad in the north.
