Runstenen i Lyttersta

A very unusual rune stone from the 11th century with traces of strong women. The stone was erected by a woman in memory of another woman and the inscription reads: "Torgunn erected this stone after Sigrid". The stone is placed in the middle of a much older settlement on the shores of Lake Tisnaren, just beyond Lytterstabadet.
