Fredagsmys under stjärnorna - Familjeaktivitet

Bus stop: Kungshögarna, about 1 km from Tunåsen

Join us up on Tunåsen for a cozy Friday evening with Biotopia! We’ll gather around the campfire, and as darkness falls, we’ll listen to stories about heroes and monsters in the constellations in the sky. If the weather is clear, we’ll also be able to gaze up at the stars. At this very moment, Earth is passing through the Leonid meteor shower, so we’ll have an especially good chance of seeing shooting stars. Bring a flashlight and make your way along our reflective trail, which features questions about space for all ages. At 7:00 p.m., there will be a stargazing tour for teens and adults led by Sofia Ramstedt from Uppsala University—see below. Tunåsen is located just south of Kungshögarna. There is a bus stop and parking at Kungshögarna in Gamla Uppsala. From there, it’s about a 1-km walk south along the footpath on the east side of Kungshögarna. Then follow the signs to the lookout point. Tunåsen is one of Uppland’s “hidden gems” in nature.
