It's just as it sounds - lovely, dirty, hard. Here, the terrain has been used to the max to get in a long distance pass with natural and really tough intervals. The tour starts with you running the 1.5-hour tour to the village of Storhallen. Once down in Storhallen village, the natural intervals begin as the tour immediately turns upwards again along the mountain. Three steep and tough climbs are completed at the bottom from the rushing river Ljungan up to the top of the mountain. Do you dare to try?

Large parts of Berg municipality are reindeer herding areas. Most reindeer are in the mountains during the summer, but you may encounter them in the forest or along the roads all year round. It is important that you as a visitor show consideration for the reindeer. You do this by not stressing them. When you encounter reindeer, slow down, sit down and wait for them to pass or take a long detour past them. Always keep dogs on a leash where there are reindeer.
