Hjälmö Lådna

The islands of Hjälmö and Lådna have one of the best-preserved cultural landscapes in the Värmdö archipelago. Västergården on Hjälmö is one of the Archipelago Foundation's first farms and has been in its possession since 1967. In the villages of Lådna and Hjälmö, most of the houses are from the turn of the last century with fruit trees and beautiful lilac fields. The small-scale agriculture makes the landscape exciting to look at and experience, on both islands large areas are undeveloped and here nature has its own development. At Västergården there is a nature and culture trail about 1.2 km long, and in the farm shop they sell ice cream and handicrafts etc.
