Gjestehuset på Mosebyødegård, Ørje

The Guesthouse at Mosebyødegård has a good view overlooking Rødnessjøen (Rødenes lake) in the Halden Canal. It is beautifully located in an idyllic cultural landscape
The guesthouse is located 5km from the Swedish Border.
It is a short distance into Ørje city centre with canal museum, steamboats, locks, cafes, shops and beaches.
The hiking area "Fjella" has Østfold's largest continuous trail network. There are kilometres of marked trails here.

The guest house is also a good starting point for nice bike rides around the Haldenkanalen area. Linda and Jon will be able to tell you more about the cycle tours in the area. Bicycles can be rented from Visit Indre Østfold at the tourist office in Ørje.

Place
The guesthouse is a log cabin from the end of the 19th century which is warmly decorated with interiors that take you back in time, combined with a more modern touch.
Here you can sleep like a princess/prince in a self-designed four-poster bed.
You can relax with a good book in the cozy corner in front of the fireplace.
The guesthouse has an open plan kitchen and living area with a separate bedroom and bathroom.
The cabin is for max 4 persons. It has one bedroom with one bed - 150 cm. In the livingroom there is a four posterbed also 120 cm. There is one bathroom in the house.

It is also possible to rent sauna for NOK 1500,- for two hours.

The guesthouse has Wifi and DAB radio.
