Vandringsled, Mergölen

There are many paths in the area, many of which are well-trodden. However, they are not marked in nature. The paths take you through coniferous forests and over open rocky areas.

There is a clearly marked mountain bike trail in the area that connects Mergölen with the nearby Aspenstorp nature reserve and the Sala silver mine. The mountain bike trail is the only trail in the reserve that has markings. The trail crosses and sometimes shares the route with the paths in Mergölen. In other words, it is a place of many interests and it is important to show consideration for each other.
